KCRW’s World Festival in 2009 will be held at the Hollywood Bowl, a famous modern amphitheatre in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles, Californis, USA. If you a big fan of Afrobeat Superstar Femi Kuti, breakout star Santigold and the soulful sounds of Raphael Saadiq, or Grace Jones, you do not want to miss this! This festival will start at 7 pm, with KCRW DJ Garth Trinidad as host. Another season of great music! Numerous events and series playing at the Bowl will entertain fans of electic music from all around the world.
The six Sunday concerts have been developed to showcase a diverse line-up of contemporary stars and traditional artists from around the globe; music in the series will range from folk, country and southern rock to reggae, pop, soul, blues and jazz.KCRW will begin June 21.
